More About Me

My family and I are so thankful and blessed to be living in the beautiful Cumberland Plateau. We are originally from Michigan, where winters are long, snow is deep and temperatures are low, so we decided to make a change and move to Tennessee and we have no regrets.

I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics. I worked in the automotive industry for almost 25 years where I designed car and truck interiors. If you are driving a sports car or SUV, chances are good that I have worked on some part of your vehicle's interior. I've also worked for 7 years in the construction field and have taught High School Math and History for two years. I've been putting the experience that I gained while working in construction to good use while living in Tennessee, but I wanted to do something different and exciting. I've always enjoyed working with people and I enjoy helping others achieve their goals and what better way to do that than to help people navigate through the process of selling or buying their home? Thus, my leap of faith into real estate where I can help make dreams come true!

My mission as your realtor is to listen closely and work for you. I will keep you informed through the entire process of selling and buying. Undeniably this is one of life's most stressful events and my hope is that I can alleviate that stress by actively marketing your home and getting it sold or finding the perfect house for you.

I would really enjoy working with you. Please call. 810-874-1619 or email david.w.laferney@gmail.com
